What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a Marketing funnel? And why is it important for every marketer to have one?

It is a marketing strategy that is designed to draw new customers to your website. It is a selling method where a customer comes to your blog seeking information that could help to solve a particular issue. It is possible to build a rapport through specific tools.

This will help you understand the needs and wants of every user. This will enable you to give the best information to each visitor. The visitor will feel more confident purchasing your products if you have gained their confidence. The visitor then transform into a buyer.

In time, many customers turn into very loyal clients who are ready to purchase just about every item that you promote on your site. A marketing funnel is comprised of the various stages of the sales process it takes to transform a regular website visitor to an extremely loyal customer who is willing to buy everything that you can throw at them.

For any internet marketer that is their ultimate objective. This is possible by using a funnel that is well-designed.

You have your marketing resources attracted the attention of people and bringing them into your funnel. They enter the funnel once they fill out the form that you have on your PERSONAL lead capture page. Since no one is going to sign up to your business lead capture page, I said "personal". They want to become a leader, and not a company.

The page for lead capture is where they begin the funnel. If they click on the "Sign up Now" or "Enter here" buttons, they are able to access a whole different world of network marketing.

The best aspect is that they are qualifying themselves to do it. It's their decision. You've not sold them anything, other than yourself as a leader as a mentor and as someone who can show them how to increase leads and bring more money into their businesses.

This is how an advertising funnel functions.

The "front-end" The "front-end" is where you make a promotional offer that will draw and attract prospective customers who may be interested in purchasing your products further down the sales funnel. To receive your product for free, join (also called opt-in), and provide your name and email address. In turn, you will add them to your mailing list.

You can now add these contacts to your email list so you can email them with any other offers that are relevant to them.

Right after signing up for the free offer you'll be directed to a webpage with a low price offer or what's known as trip wire offers. At this point, they will be taken to the "back end" of the funnel.

If they purchase the bargain priced offer then they will be taken to another related offer with a higher cost (normally known as an upsell). A person who also buys the cheaper offer will be taken to the next comparable product at a more expensive price. The list could continue for a long time...
